Be He Me by Annuals

The music of Be He Me sounds as though it’s from another time and place.  It’s difficult to  know how to categorize it, other than to say, it is a complete joy.  The members of Annuals are young and yet demonstrate an incredible talent as musicians and composers.  Be He Me is orchestral both musically and in the emotion it evokes.  Each song is dense with procession, guitars, voices, keyboards and synths.  The listener is often carried away by the musical wonderland Annuals have created with  Singer Adam Baker as the resident “mad hatter.”  His bi-polar vocal style only has moments of restraint before  it soars, sometimes in explosive little bursts.  Be He Me is more than just a listening experience, it’s a journey.
